Paducah, Kentucky

So yesterday we had the opportunity to travel up to Paducah, Kentucky to visit Mike's Grand-dad who lives there. Paducah is only about 2 hours from here. But we went up yesterday, spent the night, and came home today. Above is a picture of Addie with Papa Charles and Grandma Mary.

Papa Charles and Addison really "cheesing" it for the picture.

Papa Charles made Addison her very own golf club....it was so cute!

Mike and I had a little bit of time to go downtown Paducah. Paducah sits right on the Ohio River. It is a pretty neat little city. Home to Paducah is "the National Quilt Museum". Haha we thought it was pretty funny...so we just had to get a picture in front of it!

Mike being "so excited" to take a picture in front of the museum.

Yes, yes, thank you, thank you!
(Honoring Today's Quilters)

Also downown Paducah they had this park, and in the park were different statues of Lewis and Clark, some Soldier man, some indian dude, and a little indian girl holding the American Flag, so Mike and I decided to have a little fun!

Mike playing with the Soldier's dog.

Mike pointing the way for Lewis and Clark.

AMERICA ROCKS!

Lynsee in front of the Ohio River....across the river is the great state of Illinois..haha

ohh...what a cute couple.

Way back in the early 1900's, the Ohio River rose and flooded the entire city of Paducah, so now they have built this big, huge flood wall right along the river, and along this wall, there are many different murals painted on the wall...this is me and Mike in front of one of the murals that is painted of downtown Paducah way back in....who knows what year but way back then!! This wall is HUGE!
