As mentioned before, we were able to visit a few State Parks in the past month. I am finally able to get a few of the pictures uploaded. We took about a bazillion so I just scrolled through them a picked a few that I liked. I hope you enjoy them bc both places we visited were absolutely gorgeous!! I love this time of year, along with most people. The weather for us here in New York has been absolutely gorgeous and we have been taking full advantage of it while we can!
So, as previously mentioned, one of our stops was Letchworth State Park. The pictures will give you a very small hint as to how breathtaking this place is. We absolutely loved it!
Off of one of the trails we took! I totally should be a photographer for a calendar or something...
The girls overlooking one part of it----again, this place is known as the "Grand Canyon of the East"
Addison pictured in front of the the "middle falls"---they have 3 waterfalls to see and this one was by far the biggest one.
The "middle falls"
Dad and Zoey pictured with the falls. Although Zoey doesnt look too thrilled to be in the carrier...she actually likes riding in it.
With Cooper's leash being in the picture, we had the pleasure of bringing the ole' mighty dog along with us. He was in Doggy Heaven! We were glad that the park allowed dogs and that he could tag along with us.
Our next stop was Bristol Mountain, which is a ski resort about 30 minutes South of us. Unfortunately, once again, the pictures would NOT upload for whatever reason. I am not sure what is going on and it is blogger that is having issues or my pictures...not sure. Anyways, here is a picture I got off the internet of the resort....we have many pictures similar to this one.

We loved it! They hoist you up to the top of the mountain on the ski lift, and then you can hike all the trails...you can either hike up the mountain, down, or ride up or down the ski lift. We rode the lift up the mountain, walked through a lot of the trails on top of the mountain, and then rode the lift back down to please Addison. She loved the "swing" part.
SOOOO the point of this post and to prove that have been trying to be a little more outdoorsie while living here in New York. And we are loving it. We hope to try some new winter sports this winter such as snow shoeing, attempting our snowboarding skills again, and of course to try to find some serious sledding hills. Hopefully my pictures will be more friendly to me when it comes to uploading them.
