SLURPEE/UPDATE

So for Christmas Blaine gave me a SLURPEE machine. I was so excited...best present ever (well one of them). Anyhow, last night Mike and I FINALLY decided to try it out. I must say it worked AWESOME!! I was so excited to finally have a SLURPEE again. Sadly, here in South Carolina they dont have 7-11s (Can you believe that??!!) So Blaine decided to get me this machine for christmas b/c of my love and addiction to SLURPEES! I just have to add ..THANKS BLAINE!!

So time for an update. Addie is about 5 1/2 months old. We went to the doctor this past Friday and she is a whole 13 lbs, 10 oz. and is 23 and like 3/4 of an inch long. She is still a peanut, yet growing up fast. This week our plans are to call a Realtor and get our house on the market and sale it ASAP. Yesterday, I was released from being the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's Presidency...I only served in there 4 short months. They were making some changes, and apparently my time has come to an end for now serving in YWs. I was pretty sad to be released already, but I guess it is the way it is meant to be...the Lord works in His mysterious ways.

Mike is still working at MUSC in their Surg/Trauma ICU. I, however quit MUSC 2 weeks ago...my plans were to just stay home with Addison full time, when last week I got a call from US Airways to come and interview with them....I think I landed the job. They sent me for a drug test, took my fingerprints, and sent me home with 245 airport codes to memorize and HAVE memorized for the first week of training which begins in March, however they have not offered me the job officially b/c they have to do the background check and I have to pass before they can officially offer the job. When they do offer me the job...I am so going to take it b/c Lynz gets FREE FLIGHTS BABY!!! Which will be nice for our family b/c when we move to wherever Mike gets into school, I will have to have a job, and plus this is a FREE way for us to come back and visit friends and family.
