Whats Happening

So after seeing that everyone else has started blogs, I thought that we could also jump on the bandwagon and make a blog for our family. Soo if you are wondering whats currently happening with our family today, well I am about to tell you.

Mike--presently working at MUSC (as an RN) in their Surgical/Trauma ICU. He gets to see and learn a lot considering that North Charleston is the SEVENTH most dangerous place to live in the United States, and all those people have to do there in North Chuck is shoot each other and then they all come to Mike's unit. Mike is in the process of applying to Nurse Anesthetists schools as we speak. He will be applying to quite a few schools hoping to get accepted this coming fall. He has applied to Midwestern Univ. in Glendale, AZ; University of NC-Charlotte in Charlotte, NC; Union University in Jackson, TN; Wolford College in Naples, FL; and if those dont work out he will then apply to MUSC here in Charleston for Fall 2009 and also the University of South Carolina in Columiba, SC for the Fall 2009.

Lynsee--has one more week of working at MUSC on their General Medicine floor...and might I add that I am VERY EXCITED about quitting. After working there for 2 years, I will be leaving MUSC and staying home to raise Addison for now. I have to enjoy every minute of it now b/c once Mike is in school it is back to work for Momma Lynz. Trying to get our home ready and up for sale by the end of the month...with the housing market being so bad, we are going to try to sale it now and then rent a place until we know where we will be living in the fall. Other than that I am just trying to keep a husband and a 4 1/2 month old happy.

Addison--As of 1 week ago she weighs a whole 13 lbs and is 23 inches long. She is almost to the point of rolling all the way over...she just needs to get that second shoulder out from under her and then she will be good to go. She is always happy, is now laughing, and is still sleeping her 8 hour nights for mom and dad's sake. She will be 5 months old on Valentine's Day.
