Summer is FINALLY here! (for the most part)

So we have had some AWESOME weather lately here in Tennessee. It has been in the 80s and we are LOVING it. The other day we decided to go get Addie her swimming pool for the summer, and she has been in it everyday now! And not just in it for a quick dip, she will play in this thing for over an hour. It has been a good purchase for us. She is definetely an outdoors girl. She loves being outside and we have to bring her in kicking and screaming everytime.

Just a little update on us...not much is going on. Mike is staying BUSY BUSY with school. He as 1 - 2 tests every single week. He has about 2 1/2 weeks left of this semester and then he gets a few days off (YAY!!) before he starts for the dreaded summer semester. He is looking forward to his Gross Anatomy class...yep, working with cadavers in the HOT summer time just makes his day (haha). Good luck with the smells, hon.

Addison and I try to stay busy at home. We attempt to keep the house clean, we go to Playgroup and the Library for story time every week. So that helps time go by for us. We are looking forward to the week of the 20th b/c Mike has that week off..we are going to take Addison to the Zoo in Memphis and maybe tour Memphis a little bit, I have never been, I have yet to go West of Jackson. So that should be fun for us. We will be staying in town for awhile now, our month of traveling is over until the 4th of July, where we will be going back down to Charleston....our family has rented a beach house and so we will be celebrating the 4th on the beach..we are very excited and cant wait. Welp...that is all for now, until next time.....

Sounds like things are going well. I remember my wonderful anatomy class at BYU. The smells are definitely special...I remember having to shower after each 2 hour class but it never really helped. I love the pool looks pretty fancy!

What a fun little pool. I love that many of them come with the slide built in. We used to have to get a slide separately and then stick it in the pool. So much easier!
