Addie's 30 Month Stats

So this past week I had to take Addison to her 30 month Doc appointment. I figure I better post the stats now before I forget them and so I have them down, again for "journaling" sake.

I am proud to report that she is a perfectly healthy, normal (for the most part) little girl. She weighs in at 29 lbs, just about 38 inches tall, and all is well. The only thing she is a little behind on is her speech. For those of you who know, I have been a little frustrated on her speech. She says many words, and understands everything, but she is not really speaking any sentences. She will have conversations with me, but who knows what in the world the little girl is saying. The doc doesnt seem too concerned, but has referred me to some speech peoples to have an evaluation done on her. The doc said not to be too concerned until she reaches 3 yrs of age, and she has made some MAJOR improvement on her speaking skills since her last appointment which was at 26 months.

Hopefully the evaluation will go well and this little girl can start talking soon. But HEY, she is healthy, she is potty trained (for the most part) and life is good. One important word she can say is her new baby sister's name who will be born on April 30th (or sooner hopefully, but I doubt it).

Corinne did not talk in clear sentences until she was almost three. Of course that may have been because McKell always talked for her! But she just all of a sudden started speaking clearly in sentences. So I don't think you have any worries.
