Children's Museum

So Mike had this past Friday off for his "so called" Spring Break (yeah, they only got ONE day off and considered it spring break...oh well, what do ya do??) Anyways, we decided to take advantage of the day together and head on down to Memphis to the Children's Museum that they have there. I must say, I was quite impressed...Addison seemed to have a good time and they had a lot more than I thought they would. They had a cute supermarket they could shop at, a fire truck and police car the kids could climb into, and lots of other stuff. It is a place that I would seriously consider going back to, even if we have to travel through the G-H-E-T-T-O to get there and risk getting shot at (just kidding, not about the ghetto part, but about the getting shot part)....but it was fun. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit and were just grateful to have a 3-day weekend together. Here are some pictures from out time at the museum...they arent the best, but what do you do when you are trying to chase a 2 year old around.....

WARNING...there are lots of pictures, but I only do it for our "journal-ing" sake.

She wasnt a big fan of the big "bug"

She liked the bank teller part of the museum...I think we sent that tube through about 5 times...

She was making sure the money was "real"

Anything she can draw on, she is a happy child...

This thing was pretty cool...it was a motor thingy that sent the paper plane flying...she enjoyed that part

She was really into the surfing/snowboarding simulator...
hence the serious face...she took this part very seriously

She had to climb this net thing to get to the top..she was quite proud of herself

Going up the net

And going down..

She was trying to brush her own teeth with that nasty thing..

Brushing teeth

Thats my girl...its in the blood

They had this little disco part with a disco ball and music playing, she was having the time of her life dancing...it was hilarious to watch.

These pictures just dont even give you a clue to how funny she was to watch...

She had more fun running around the stage and jumping off of it than actually dancing ON the stage..

The little Kroger Supermarket...

So grown up (tear)

I think the waterworks part was her favorite...she is a water girl...

She was so proud for catching a fish all by herself..

They had this Hot Air Balloon and you could push a button, fill the balloon up with the air, and then the balloon would float up to the top of the museum...everytime the balloon when up, this was the reaction we got...haha it was so cute to watch.

That museum looks like so much fun for kids! And ok, I might have fun there too :) Addison's faces and reactions are so cute!
