Paducah

A couple of weeks ago, Mike got to play in a Golf Tournament in Paducah, KY with his grand-dad, dad, and his uncles. The girls and I decided to make the 2 hour trip up to Paducah so that we could spend some time with Mike and the men. We were able to get a hotel room for the night so that we could have our own space and also b/c the hotel had a swimming pool...which was a big plus b/c while the men were golfing all day long, I needed something for Addison to do and swimming at the hotel was the answer. It was a nice quick trip up and it was fun for Mike's dad (papa) to see Addie and Zoey. It was also Mike's grand-dad's and uncles' first time meeting Zoey.

I got a few pictures of our little getaway....not very many, but at least I got some. Just gotta post them for the record.

We went to Walmart to try to find a baby floatie for Zoey...this was the best thing we found...this pink raft looking thing...it made for a nice "bed" to lay in for Addison while watching cartoons.

After we had to check out of the hotel...the girls and I went downtown Paducah. Paducah sits right on the Ohio River. On the other side of the river is the state of Illinios. They really do have a neat downtown riverfront park.

She was enjoying watching all the boats go by. She was just a little disappointed that mommy wouldnt let her go down to the river to go swimming....(it didnt help that she saw some other kids swimming along the riverbank)
