What We've Been Up To...

NOT MUCH!! I really need to start taking more pictures of my girls...I will admit, I have been kind of slack. But we really havent been doing a whole lot. With Mike busy in Clinical, and trying to stay within our budget, we really havent had much to do. But a couple things we have been up to lately are:

I started back up again the other day with my Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. Um...Yeah...its already kicking my butt. But I love it, bc its a short 20 minute workout, and I am definitely FEELIN' IT!!! Its a Love/Hate relationship with this Workout DVD. HATE the workout, LOVE the way I feel after that 20 minutes.




Addison continues to go to her Dance Classes every week. She absolutely LOVES it. She follows along very well. She is in a class with 5 or 6 little girls and they do half tap, half ballet. They just scheduled her recital for next May and I am SO EXCITED!! Not to be bias or anything, but she is going to be the cutest one on that stage! I cant wait! You are looking at a future Radio City Rockette here...HA!




Addison also continues to go to her Speech Therapy once a week. They just did a Articulation Test on her since she just turned 3 years. She did pretty well on it. She really doesnt have a problem with pronouncing words, its saying actual sentences that she struggles with. She knows a LOT of words and continues to improve everyday, spurting out new things everyday which catches me off guard. I think Speech Therapy is truly helping her, luckily she gets to continue with Speech Therapy! She loves it! Now that she is three, they are going to switch gears from just Speech with words, to actual Articulation of sentences. Hopefully she can start speaking clearly with sentences very soon.



We like to make many trips to Target. Not just to go buy things for the heck of it...we just go b/c Addison can play with the toys without me having to buy them. It gets us out of the house and we LOVE it. Plus, I have my eye on a few new clothes for the girls that I am DYING to get, but I am just waiting for them to hit that "For Sale" rack. Come on, Target, dont let me down! We love us some Target now.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...



This is our local park...we LOVE it. Its HUGE! See in the background...its a whole other Playground. With the most AMAZING Fall weather that we are finally getting...we are getting to make more frequent trips to the park (and less of Target). We love the park, they have a 1.3 mile trail around the entire thing that we can walk or run, and then of course the huge playground for Addie. Thank you Fall for granting us our wish to bring cooler weather here to our area.

And that about sums up our lives lately. Nothing too exciting, but these things get us through the days. We look forward into October with Halloween and a trip to Nashville for a few days while Mike attends the Tennessee Nurse Anesthetists Conference there. We love us some shopping in Nashville. And thats about it...exciting eh??
