See what I mean about my little attention thriver?? This is her waving at everybody on the side line cheering her on.....
Friday was more of an eventful day than Thursday was. We all got up and headed for Letchworth State Park. I, unfortunately, forgot the camera, but I have blogged about his park before, since we went there last fall. It is a gorgeous state park and it is also known as the "Grand Canyon of the East" b/c of its huge gorges and stuff. The family seemed to really enjoy it. It was a nice outing for all of us.
After spending the whole morning and into the afternoon at Letchworth, we all headed home to get some rest before attending the Hill Cumorah Pageant that night in Palmyra, NY. For more information on the Pageant, you can go here: http://hillcumorah.org/Pageant/index.php Thankfully, I have some friends who are very much involved in the pageant, so I texted a friend up and asked her if she could save about 20 seats for us. As awesome as she is, she did so we didnt have to show up until just before the show started. THANK YOU, HEATHER W.!!!!!!! We showed up about 20 min's before show time, and got amazing seats right near the front behind the V.I.P section. Again, you rock Heather W.!! The show was fabulous, the weather was perfect, and the Spirit was there.
(I dont know why these turned out kind of blurry..but they did)

Thank you, Uncle Christian for giving my child caffeine at 9:15pm!
Saturday was another "sort of" relaxing day. Grandma and Gruncle Kirk flew out on the 6am flight, they were off to NYC and Connecticut to spend time with my other cousin and aunt. We all slept in that morning, all except my dad who was the lucky one to haul grandma and gruncle to the airport at 5 am, but then that afternoon we decided to try out some fishing at one of the local parks. We were very unsuccessful. But it was nice to get out and try.
Nic was on "dog duty"
That night, the Russians and Mike headed back to the Hill Cumorah pageant where they were put on Security detail. They worked a 6 hour shift that night...all on a volunteer basis. Way to go boys! I am sure you will be blessed for your services one day. My parents stayed home with the grand-babies all evening, and I took Ashley out for a sight seeing tour or Rochester...and boy did we see it all!! We totally ended up in the ghetto, totally thought we were going to get shot or something, almost wet my pants i was so nervous and scared---you know it is bad when you come to a 4 way stop, 3 gang/thug/ghetto cars are turning and a dude is hanging out the window, waving his hand at us to get back. CREEPY. Especially when every night there is some kind of news story about a shooting that has happened near downtown Rochester. Yeah, I kind of took a wrong turn and will never go near that area again!!!!!!!! So when I say Ashley got to experience it all, she really got to experience it ALL!! Sorry, Ash.
The next morning on Sunday, the family headed back home for Carolina. Although it was short visit, we were glad they were able to make it up here. We had a great time with them here, and hope they can plan another trip soon. Thanks mi familia!! It was fun!!!
