Charleston and Beach

So the past couple of days, Heather and Blaine came to Charleston to stay and hang out with us. The first night they arrived, we all went to Coconut Joe's on the Isle of Palms Beach. The next day, Ashley and her friend Adriana who is visiting from Utah, met up with us and we spent the day downtown Charleston, where Addison went swimming in the big pineapple fountain at Waterfront Park. She loved it. As did all of us b/c it was hot and so it was nice to be able to wade into the fountain to cool off.

Today all of us went to the beach for a few hours. This was Addison's first time actually swimming at the beach, and she absolutely LOVED it. We also brought along Cooper the dog...he liked being at the beach, but did not like the water. But we had a great time at the beach. The water temperature was perfect, and the sun was a shining. No one got real burnt, thank goodness. Blaine and Heather did a little (of course they did...they have RED HAIR). Mike, me, and Addison all worked on our tans. Heather and Blaine will be leaving tomorrow night. We have had a great time with them being here and hope to be able to hang out with them again real soon.
