Cooper also came along on the camping trip. At one point, we couldnt find him, when we did find him....this is where he was...in the tent ON OUR air mattress....this is Cooper's definition of camping...haha i swear this dog thinks he is human.

Our campsite on Lake Moultrie

This was the first thing I saw when we pulled up to
the campsite....YIKES!! Luckily I didnt see any gators.

So for the 4th of July, we went camping at Lake Moultrie near Moncks Corner, SC. We had a great time, we went camping with a bunch of Mike's Family. The weather held out perfectly for us! The second day we were there, a huge thunderstorm rolled through, but it left some cool weather for us which made the hot, humid heat we get here in the south bearable. Mike's family and some of their friends also brought their boats. We had 3 boats for all of us. We were able to go out onto the lake and go tubing...it was a lot of fun, and dont worry, no alligators got any of us. Yes, there are alligators in this lake...about this time last year, in the same campground we were staying in, a guy went snorkeling and was attacked by an alligator, he had his whole arm bit off and they were unable to attach it, I know this b/c the guy was Mike's patient at the hospital. Needless to say, I was a little freaked out to be staying here, IN A TENT, with alligators AROUND. But luckily I didnt see any so my mind was set at ease. But we had great time and I shall return there again for another camp out. This was Addie's first camping trip and she handled it well. She loved every minute of it,...but of course it was b/c all the attention was on her. Here are some pictures from our trip.
