So on Tuesday I had to take Addison to her 12 month doctor's appointment. OUCH that one hurt! She got 3 shots and next month she has to go get 2 more. Addie's doctor likes to split her shots up so she doesnt get like 6 at one time. He also has been doing some research and really does feel that it is better for the child to have their shots split up a little bit. I dont complain, b/c to sit there and watch your child get like 6 shots and see them cry their little eyes out, just breaks your heart. Anyways, Addison is strong and healthy. She weighs a whole WHOPPIN 19 POUNDS!! She is our little jelly bean. Right now she is in the 25 percentile. Where she has pretty much remained the whole first year of her life. Every time we have gone into the doctor she has been in the 25 percentile. But she handled her shots well and about 3 minutes after getting the shots, the nurse gave her a lollipop and she was as happy as a horse. Still not walking independently but she is SO CLOSE. Anyday now...YIKES!
