Carolinas-Part 2

So onto Tuesday (Day 2) of our trip.... we got up that morning, cooked a nice breakfast and off we went down to the Intercoastal Waterway---which for those of you who dont know what that is; the InterCoastal Waterway is a waterway that runs along the coast from Southern Florida all the way up to New York and that area.

Anyways, back to our day....we went down to the marina on the InterCoastal Waterway and rented some Kayaks. We went kayaking for about half the day. We had an awesome time going up and down the waterway and through some other waterways throughout the marshes. We had a blast! And we all got a nice tans, got to go swimming, got a good workout and the best part was that none of us werent really that sore the day after. I loved every minute of it and I am ready to go down again and do some more...

After returning from kayaking we pretty much chilled the rest of the day. Did a little swimming, TV watching, and of course some Facebooking (haha). Later that night all of us grown ups left our kids with the Russians (my bro's) and we headed over to "The Boat House" which is a this cute restaurant that sits right on the InterCoastal Waterway overlooking the water and marshes. Besides the fact that I HATE seafood and this was a seafood restaurant...the views were gorgeous and they had chicken, which was pretty good so I was satisfied.
