Conclusion to our Trip

I am not a photography, but I thought this was a pretty cool shot that I got and I am proud of it.

So I am finally at the conclusion of our trip. When returning to Charlotte after spending the week in Charleston, my sister Heather and her husband Blaine had driven up from Mississippi to spend the weekend in Charlotte b/c Blaine had some work stuff to do there in North Carolina. We all spent the weekend pretty much shopping at the amazing malls in Charlotte. That Sunday Heather and Blaine left to go back to Mississippi.

Monday, I took my little brother Nicholas to the local DMV where he PASSED his driving test with flying colors....YAY for Nic!! He has waited awhile to get it....he was pretty excited and in the words of Nic he said "I am a real man now". haha for those of you who know Nic, you know just how funny he is.

Tuesday we basically chilled, did a little grocery shopping, nothing too exciting, and then that night, Addison, me and the Russians all went out to dinner.

Wednesday, Addison, me, and my sister Ashley went and did some more shopping around. After shopping Addie and I decided to get in the swimming pool with the boys where we took some fun pictures (as you see below). Then that night my dad and I made Japanese Gyozas for the boys...MmmMMm were they good. Then I went with my dad to buy an older lawn mower from a guy for my dad to take out to the farm. (exciting, I know)

Thursday it was time for Addison and I to pack up to head back to Tennessee. Our flight was out about 5:30 that night. That morning I ran and got my hair chopped off......oh its short. But I like it...it felt really good and it is so much faster and easier to do. I will try to post a picture soon. Coming back from Charlotte we were delayed AGAIN...but at least we made it into Memphis that night so I am not going to complain.

Both trips to Charlotte and Charleston were a lot of fun. It was nice to get way for a little bit. We had a blast and look forward into going back to Charlotte in a month when Mike has some time off from school.
