I Miss.....

So I got this months issue of "Southern Living" (Love It!) and the featured article for this month's issue was "Charleston Romantic Charm" Thank You Southern Living for making me so homesick for Charleston. They were talking about how gorgeous Charleston is this time of year...it made me just want to jump in the car and head home to "Chuck Town". I miss all the Azalea Flowers in bloom, the Flower Festival that takes place in Summerville where the town is just gorgeous to drive through, the big Cooper River Bridge Run that happens the first weekend of April which I miss doing...I miss walking the bridge and then scrounging the different tents for whatever is left of the FREE stuff they give out after all the runners have taken most things. I miss the almost perfect weather Charleston has this time of year. I miss our family walks downtown Charleston along the Battery and Waterfront Park and walking through all the side streets looking at the Old Southern Mansions hoping that one day I can live in one (HA yeah right). I miss the window boxes that are in full bloom hanging out the windows. I miss all the tourists talking about what an AWESOME place Charleston is and thinking how lucky I am to be living here (obviously not living there anymore). I just miss it! Dont worry Chuck Town, I will be back to you very very soon.
