Potty Training and Trained!

So last week I decided to start the Potty Training process....it was a little rough for me at the start...but thankfully my smart little girl caught on and I can officially say that she is for the most part POTTY TRAINED!! I have to brag a little bit, she pretty much had the process down by the 3rd day. She can now POOP and PEE in her little potty, empty the "potty pot" into the toilet and flush the toilet ALL by herself. I hardly ever have to remind her to use it...she just gets on and goes. It is so fun to see how excited she gets when she goes. THANKFULLY she caught on and this can now save us some moneys on diapers when Baby Girl #2 gets here the end of April. They grow up so fast!

The only thing we now have to work on is her actually TELLING me she has to go "potty" when we go out and about. Right now I still put her in a diaper when we go out shopping or whatever b/c she doesnt actually tell me when she has to go, at home she just goes without any problem. To say the least, I am so proud of her and happy that I have no more diapers to change when we are at home. Of course she has had her few accidents, but again, I can pretty much say she is officially potty trained (at home).

My kids were fairly easy to train as well...they also had trouble with outings and when they were distracted they didn't bother to tell me. Keep putting her in pull ups when you go out accidents are just frustrating but be sure to award her if she makes and outing with a dry diaper on...it seemed to help with my kids. She is getting so big!
