FOUR of MANY Posts...

Monday, July 5th: DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON & THE RIVERDOGS GAME

On Monday, we all woke up and got ready for the day. We decided to all head downtown Charleston to shop the local Markets there. We also ate out for lunch at an awesome place called Wild Wings...its very good stuff. As always, its fun to shop downtown and play tourist for the day. Hanging out this week in Charleston definitely made me very homesick for the place. I love it and miss it very much...

Mike and Nic for their photo-op together. This was the last time Nic and Mike would see each other for a couple of years b/c Nic is leaving at the end of the month for his mission in Arizona.

Wild Wings has a whole bunch of different flavors for their wings...Nic wanted to be brave and try the Hottest Wing on the menu, so he asked for a sample of the "Braveheart"...the hottest flavor there is. When the server brought it to the table, Nic wasnt quite ready to try it, so Cameron stepped up to the plate to be the first to try it....you can see ABOVE his reaction to the wing....haha hilarious!
Nic got the courage to try it, and this was his reaction....
Mike then took the wing and ate the thing like it was nothing....he can handle HOT things (especially me, haha) like its nothing...that's my man!

Later that afternoon, Mike had to fly back to Kentucky where he will be starting this new Clinical Rotation for the next 2 months. So, unfortunately he had to leave us, but at least he was able to spend the weekend with us.

After getting back from the airport, we all decided to head on down to the Charleston Riverdogs Game...a local baseball team. They are really fun games to go to, cheap, and the stadium sits right on the Ashely River with gorgeous views. While we were there, Miss Teen South Carolina ended up sitting right in front of us. Having little girls, we had to get a picture of her with the little girls. As always, Addison DID not want to smile, but we did the best we could. It was kind of cool that she sat right in front of us. She was very cute with Addison and Macey and was more than happy to get pictures with them. THANKS Miss Teen South Carolina.

Also at the game, there was a balloon lady going around making animals for kids...Addison got a turtle that the lady made into a bracelet...Addison was very excited about this and thought it was the coolest thing.

I think she frightened Miss Teen South Carolina at first with her very active and hyper personality.

Showing Miss Teen South Carolina her turtle...

Eating her Funnel Cake....Careful Miss Teen South Carolina, that will go straight to the hips...haha
