ONE of MANY Posts...

As some of you may know, this past week us and the familia traveled down to Charleston, SC to stay in a beach house for week. It has been a fun trip and as always, we LOVE coming down here. There is so much to report and many pictures to share...so i must break down the trip and post on different days.

DAY 1: Saturday, July 3rd.....

Addison, Zoey, and myself traveled down from Charlotte, NC (where the parentals live) to Charleston, SC by ourselves that day. Mike was flying into Charleston from Tennessee and we left early from Charlotte to pick him up, leaving the other 20 family members who were coming down later on behind. After picking Mike up, we headed over to Andolini's Pizza, where Mike and I were dying to eat....we went on our very first date here and they seriously have the best pizza! After getting our Andolini's fix, we headed over to Wannamaker Park here in Charleston to attend Mike's Step-Sister's little boy's First Birthday Party. We were able to see many of Mike's family and had a good time catching up with them.

Later on that day, we headed to the Beach House we were staying in for the week, got all our crap unloaded and we met up with the rest of the family. My whole family of 10 + 4 bro-in-laws + 4 grandbabies + My Uncle, Aunt, and 3 of their kids = 23 people TOTAL under ONE roof. Its a little crazy, yes... but also a lot of fun.

That night, some of decided to head over to Coconut Joe's, which is this awesome restaurant that sits RIGHT on the beach and they have live music every night. It is a very fun atmosphere and awesome food. After having dinner there, walked the beach back to the house. It was an awesome end to our first night at the beach.
