Welp....we are finally in our new place here in New York. Life is good thus far. But before posting about getting here and all that....I have some catching up to do. We officially left Tennessee the first week of August. Between leaving Tennessee and arriving in New York, we had about 12 days to play....so we decided to use those 12 days and head home to Carolina. We were able to spend a bunch of time with my family, and we also got to go back down to Charleston to visit Mike's family. As always, it was good to see everyone. I really didnt get a whole lot of pictures b/c we accidentally packed the camera battery....so I only had so much camera juice to waste. We decided to use the camera juice down in Charleston.
We spent 3 days in Charleston. We took the girls down to Sullivan's Island to let them swim at the beach for a bit. This part of the island I love b/c it is the only part that actually has rocks along it and you can find some AWESOME seashells b/c most tourist DONT go to this part of the beach-----which is another reason why I love Sullivan's Island.
Fort Moultire---a fort during the Revolutionary War
Oh how we miss our Palmetto Trees
Beach pictures are always hard to sort through...b/c seriously, every time we go, I take about a thousand beach pictures b/c they always make the best pictures!! Sadly I sorted through a bunch and only put a "few" on here. Which is still a lot. I am surprised my camera lasted as long as it did without being charged. I am quite impressed with it really. Anyways, enjoy the beach pictures. We love and miss our beach!
Addie dancing along the beach
As mentioned presviously...Sullivan's Island really is more of a locals beach, and with the rocks along this part of the beach, when it is low tide, you can look in between the rocks and find some awesome seashells...so here is Mike and the girls searching for seashells.
We found a shell with a living crab inside of it. Zoey thought it was awesome----Addison not so much, hence the reason she is no where near this picture.
Our new friend we found
Addison found a seagull feather and was pretty excited about it.
After leaving the beach, we got to stay with Papa Kim. This was back at papa's house. This was how Zoey was most of the night. The girl loves books and became very fond of the Toy Story lounger. She is such a silly girl.
Earlier that evening, the girls got to ride around the wagon in Papa's backyard. Heaven forbid I get a picture of both girls looking at me at the same time...but I did however get 2 separate pictures of them looking at me at different times.
Addie looking
Our second day in Charleston, we headed downtown to Market Street to do some shopping. After Market Street we took the girls to Waterfront Park where they have fountains made so that kids can play in them. Needless to say, Addison and Zoey were in heaven.
Zoey and Cousin Will....my family came down to Charleston the same time we were there visiting Mike's family to hang out.
As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Home Sweet Home Charleston. It was nice to be able to spend almost 2 weeks with family before making the trek up to New York. A big thank you to my family and also Mike's family for hosting us during our visit. We are so excited that we have made it to this time in our lives.....the time where we get to move on and FINALLY have an income (whatever that is). Look Out Reality!! The Turok's are here!!
More on our move to New York later.......

Seeing those beach pictures made me decide that I MUST go to Sullivan's Island. That beach looked AMAZING! And then Waterfront park looked super fun too. That's it...I'm vacationing there next.
