Rhett's Blessing Day

Today, we were able to bless Rhett in our church. His daddy did a marvelous job giving the blessing. We were fortunate enough to have Grandpa Ladd, Nana Sally, and Papa Kim fly in from the Carolinas for Rhett's blessing. It has been a weekend full of family fun. Rhett did ok during his blessing...he was great up until the point that he decided to spit up all over the hands of the men blessing him---lovely eh?!?! Due to him starting to choke on his own "spitting up junk", Mike had to cut the prayer a little short.

After church, we headed out to the Sacred Grove in Palmyra, NY (we live about 20 min's away from there) to get some photo-ops. We got a good one of just us and Rhett.... unfortunately our family one was not such a happy one. Oh well, they never are when you have toddlers.

After getting some pictures done, we came home and ate, ate, and ate. Mike smoked some ribs, and then we got some Superbowl Watching in....we still are. It has been a pretty good day and we are so grateful that our parents were able to come in this weekend for this special occasion. We definitely feel loved.
