Happiest Place On Earth

Ok folks, here we go... if you have noticed, I have been MIA for the past week or so because well...I was lost in the land of "Happiness", (aka DISNEY WORLD). Mike had to travel down there for a Anesthesia Conference, and well, me and the girls decided that it would be best to tag along with him :) We flew down on a Friday afternoon and got settled into the hotel that night, and thats where the fun filled week all began. Because of our picture OVERLOAD, this post will most definitely be split up. And hey!! You can never get enough of Disney World, right? Well even if you can, we CANT! So here we go...

As mentioned before, we flew in to Orlando and got to our Hotel Friday afternoon. Right away, Addison was determined to go swimming....so a swimming we went!

Here are the girls all ready to go...

Our hotel-- The Royal Plaza

Zoey swimming away

Rhett went into the swimming pool for the first time, he wasnt much of a fan, but it was a little chilly outside with the wind.

This is pretty much what Rhett did the whole time while being poolside for the couple of days we were there

And here is our little "fish" of the family...the girl LOVES the water

And if you think I was going to post a picture of myself in a swimsuit--FORGET IT! One day hopefully, but that will be after my baby weight is GONE.

Our hotel sat on Disney Property, and it was near Downtown Disney. It was about a 10 - 15 minute walk for us to Downtown Disney, so we went just about every evening for dinner, and to just walk around. It sits right on a lake, and every night there are live bands and dancing all along the boardwalk there. It was kind of a cool scene. We liked it. And of course we had to load up on all our Disney crap. They have the worlds largest Disney store there..and it really is ridiculously large! This next set up pictures are from our 4 days combined of downtown Disney....

Our view from the hotel window....The big balloon takes off from Downtown Disney. We were also able to view the firework show from Epcot from our room as well.

Zoey was pooped out the second day...one minute she was watching TV and eating gold fish, the next minute she was doing this:

Lets get a closer look shall we...I thought it was hilarious!!

Downtown Disney has a Rainforest Cafe...so we decided to take the girls to it. Both of them watching in "awe" at all the animals coming to life.

Rhett watching all the animals coming to life as well...it definitely woke him up!

Addie ready to eat

Zoey doing what she does best....drinking! The girl loves her juice

They have a lego store Downtown Disney...this dragon behind the girls was made up of ALL Legos, and it even sat in the water. Pretty sweet. Whoever made the various Lego Sculptures there are the "boss"!!

Another Lego Sculpture of Buzz and Woody = AWESOME

Better shot of the water dragon made of Legos

Me and the girls...or maybe just ME since heaven forbid the girls looked and smiled at the camera

Worlds Largest Disney Store

Here's our happy little guy

They had this huge "stitch" over one of the entrances of the Disney Store...he squirted water out to people...Addie had a blast with this thing.

The girls loving getting squirted by stitch

They definitely were entertainment for a lot of people

While in Florida, a good friend of ours from the Charleston days were there vacationing the same time we were. So we were able to meet up with Rayna and her hubby Dominic for dinner. It was so awesome to see them and to catch up with them.

While walking down the boardwalk, there was some music playing and a bunch of people dancing. Addison wanted to join in on the dancing. As we were letting her, we caught this old guy in the crowd getting down and boogieing with the music. His outfit is the best!!

He seriously was a riot to watch. Still cant get over the green-hippy-ish outfit he was wearing. It was awesome.

With it being St Patrick's Day the weekend we were there...there were a lot of Irish Dancers and music playing...Addison decided to join in on this dance with some of the Irish Dancers and other little girls.

We decided to take the girls to a restaurant called T-Rex...its basically like a Rainforest Cafe, but with dinosaurs. I cant say the food was that great, but the atmosphere was awesome!

All 3 kiddos with the Winnie the Pooh characters...Zoey wasnt having it, as you can tell.

We liked Downtown Disney a lot. Every night there was something different going on. It was fun walking around and going through the different shops equipped with things that had to do with Disney, Food, Disney, Lego, Disney, Toys, oh, and DISNEY!!
