Here is our boy smiling. I love it!! This is when "babyhood" gets more fun and is totally worth it. He just starting smiling the other day...and along with the smiling, comes the coo-ing. It is oh-so-adorable! He keeps us smiling every day. He has been such a good baby. He continues to sleep through the night (most nights) and he is still nursing like a champ. I am going on almost 8 weeks now--the longest I have even gone with all 3 of my kids, GO ME!! His sisters continue to love him more and more each day. Addie always wants to hold him, and Zoey likes to help feed him. I love watching them take care of him...they make a mamma proud.
Not too much has been going on around here. The weather has been cooler, so we have been trying not to go too crazy being cooped up in a 2 bedroom townhome. But I am happy to say that we have been pre-approved and we are officially on the house hunt. Its been a frustrating process really. We lost one house that we fell in love with due to the owners stupidity--no really, they were stupid. And other houses we are going back and forth on taking in the consideration of location, square footage, yard size, etc...etc... I seriously thought house hunting would be much more exciting, but its not. I need to stop watching HGTV, b/c house hunting is NOT as smooth as they make it look on there...thanks a lot HGTV, you totally did not prepare me for reality here. I know we will find the right house, its just a matter of WHEN, WHAT, and WHERE!?! Please pray for us that we can have more patience with this process.
Life is going good, though. Mike continues to enjoy his work. We continue to stay busy between running to Preschool, Speech Therapy, church callings, and now House Hunting. We are heading to Disney World very very soon, and it is a much needed vacation. Mike has a Anesthesia conference there, so we are tagging along with him and hitting up all the Disney sites. Towards the end of the week that we are there, my family is coming down and joining us. We are so excited, we are definitely a bunch of suckers when it comes to Disney. We Heart Disney!!
Today we had a high of 66 degrees. Not too shabby for Western NY in March!! We were able to enjoy some outside time and grill out. It was lovely! We are so ready for spring, but not we gotta little ways to go before that...apparently the weather in March here is kind of bi-polar. One day will be warm and awesome, the next you will get some snow. Oh well, we kind of like the changes vs living in the south with NO changes--just HOT. Well hopefully by the time I blog next, we will have bought a house. We shall see! I will keep you updated..for those of you still interested.
