6 Years Down, Eternity To Go....

Yesterday was our 6th Wedding Anniversary.   It ended up being a C-R-A-Z-Y day!  First off, Mike volunteered to have the 14-16 year old boys in our church over for a small BBQ.  They have been working hard the last several weeks to build a "catapult" where they flicked tennis balls and stuff with it.  They did it in this huge field at the front of our neighborhood, after they had all their fun, they came back to the house for hamburgers.  During this time, I had to leave to take a Baby Shower Cake I had made for a friend down to a town called Canadaigua which is a good 30 minutes from our house....therefore, our day turned into BUSY real fast.

Finally that night, we dropped the kids off at a friend's house and we headed out for a date without the kiddos.  We decided to just go to Cheesecake Factory, which as always was very yummy!  Cheesecake had like a 45 minute wait, so while we waited we walked over to Carter's (kids clothing store) and bought some stuff for the kids---its ALWAYS about the kids, right!?!  Annoying, I know, welcome to parenthood.  After getting some stuff for them, we headed back to Cheesecake where we finally got our table and yummy food.  After dinner, we headed to Target and bought the kid's Santa Claus stuff.  We figured we better get it done tonight, b/c we might not have another opportunity to do so before Christmas WITHOUT kids.  And that about sums up our Anniversary date.

6 years with the guy pictured above had been wonderful.  I am a lucky gal to be married to him.  He is a wonderful husband, a great daddy to his kids, hard worker, and just loves spending time with us (his fam), more than anything else.  Happy Anniversary, babe!!  6 years down, with Eternity to go!  Bring it!
