Halloweeeeeen

We had a great Halloween this year.  It was Rhett's first one, which was exciting for us.  Addison and Zoey got HOOKED up with TONS of candy and also had a blast Trick-O-Treating.  Our Halloween week started out on Monday (10.29.12) with Pumpkin Carving for our Family Home Evening while watching Hurricane Sandy blow her way through the area---thankfully there was just a lot of wind and rain and nothing to tragic happened.  Bless those along the Jersey Shore and New York, our hearts go out to them.

Getting back to our pumpkin carving....Mike and I helped carved the girl's pumpkins.  Zoey got an old fashioned pumpkin carving, and Addison wanted a "mean" looking one since she was going to me a "mean" witch for Halloween.

Daddy, Rhett, and Addison getting ready to carve the pumpkin, hence the knife sticking into the pumpkin----Zoey as always refused to be in the picture (she is miss stubborn these days)

The final products

On Halloween Night, we each made individual pizzas with pumpkin faces made out of pepperoni....

mmmmmm

Our little Trick-O-Treaters for the evening

Zoey is "Merida" from the new Disney Movie Brave.  We felt the curly hair, minus the red, was very fitting for her to be Merida this year

Addison wanted to be a witch this year...and to make it KNOWN to ALL, she is a "Mean Witch", not a nice one, but a MEAN one...She makes the cutest "mean" witch I've ever seen.

And lets not forget the most adorable Darth Vader there is!!  Mike played a BIG part in choosing Rhett's costume this year....No, no, no, no no, ...he played ALL of the part in choosing Rhett's costume this year.  Can you tell Mike is super excited to finally have a BOY in the family??!!  This little dude is ALL boy.

We took the kids around our neighborhood...every year, the Pittsford Fire Department comes to our neighborhood and passes out candy to all the kids....here they are stopping for our Trick-O-Treating group.

Rhett wasnt too sure about all the lights and the loud noise from the fire truck

Part of Addison Candy supply she got that night

We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!  Until next year.....
