So with Tropical Strom Fay hitting the coast of Florida...Charleston has been getting rain from the outside part of the storm, considering it is sitting on the upper east side of Florida. Because of the rain and storms we have been stuck inside not wanting to go anywhere. Which makes it really long for mom and Addie! Actually not so bad for Addie...bad for MOM!! She is into everything! She is faster than she has ever been crawling, and is trying to walk now. Her new favorite thing to do is TERRORIZE the shelves by pulling every single DVD off the shelf, 1 by 1. I try to block her with couch cushions and anything I can think of....but that little girl is just too smart for her mom and somehow squeezes her way through my traps....(perhaps maybe b/c she is still a TINY PEANUT and she can squeeze through just about anything). It makes it hard keeping an almost 1 year old quiet and happy when dad is trying to sleep in the other room b/c of his night shifts. OHHH how I cant wait to MOVE!! For 2 BIG reasons: 1) mike will be done with night shifts 2) we will be out of this stinkin' apartment! How I HATE the apartment life! But it will have to do for now. Life goes on.

Since Aleena's been walking the past few weeks her new favorite thing is to throw her toys in the garbage can. We got a new garbage can with a lid last night and she's too smart for that! She lifts it up anyways! Today she unrolled the roll of seran wrap, wax paper, and aluminum foil! I know how you feel! I don't have a car during the days so I get it everyday!!! They sure are cute though! Good luck with the walking!
Haha! Just wait until she's under the kitchen sink trying to suck on the spray bottles, or better yet in the bathroom unrolling all the toilet paper or playing with the toilet brush cleaner. Remember to keep those doors closed at ALL times!
Those are some cute pictures of her, but I can imagine your stress if she has even gotten faster. Just wait till she starts walking all over the house. Oh well, I guess that is the fun of being a mom.
you will be out of the apt soon. you know what they say, enjoy is while they are young, cause they grow up so fast ;) Plus, she should be able to do whatever she wants cause she is so dang cute!

I can't believe how big she is getting, I swear she was just born. Enjoy these times they don't last forever.
