This past weekend was the Charleston, SC Stake Youth Conference. Mike is in the Stake Young Men's presidency so we had the pleasure of attending this event. Mike, obviously had to be there to help out with it, and Addison and I also went with him to eat the free food and listen to the AWESOME youth speaker that was there. Back when my mom was the Stake Young Women's President, she had arranged for Brad Wilcox to come and speak to the youth...and what an amazing job he did. He was a wonderful speaker and he really inspired the kids. The conference took place Friday night and all day Saturday. Friday night they had a big dinner for the kids and then there was the dance. Mike's dad was there b/c he is 1st counselor in his ward, so at the dance he was able to dance with Addie...as did I. We had a great time at youth conference.
