Buffalo Pizza Bash

Yesterday (4.21.2012), we drove the hour and 10 minutes to Buffalo (New York that is) to check out the Buffalo Pizza Bash.  There was a Groupon for the admission price and figure that we should check it out seeing that we love our pizza.  Every year, they hold this event at one of the local malls, and all the local pizza eateries come and show off their pizza and then the people vote for Buffalo's Best Pizza. They have contests going throughout the event as well such as a Pizza Tossing Contest, Pizza Eating Contest, a Putting together Pizza Boxes Contest, etc..etc...  Pictured below is us enjoying the Pizza Bash.

This was the first time that we have ventured out of Rochester for a day trip since living here..  This gave us an excuse to go...Thanks Groupon!  We went, we ate, we enjoyed, we left.  The pizza there, we feel like it was just "ok".  We have a couple of favorite pizza places here in Rochester, and they both blow all the pizza we tried there out of the water!  Although, one pizza place that was there had a "mashed potato" pizza....although the name of it sounds kind of gross, it was actually pretty awesome tasting.  We really liked that one and it was by far our favorite piece.  As for the others, they were all pretty standard.  I dont know if we will go back to this event or not...it was fun for going once, but overall we werent too impressed.  But we went, we tried, we ate, we experienced.  The End.
