Zoey Turns 2!!

It's true, our little Zoey just turned TWO!!  (that totally rhymes in case you didnt notice).  It was 2 years ago today, that our little ray of sunshine entered into our world.  She has grown so much and continues to amaze us each and every day.  She makes us smile and laugh at the wink of her eye.  She is a crack up and doesnt even have to put effort into just being funny all the time.  Her speech at this age is ridiculous.  She is WAY ahead of where Addison was at this age.  Some of her frequent sayings are:  "What you doing?  You're silly", and of course she has learn "No Ma'am and No Way"  (plus A LOT more).  Her favorite movie right now is either Rio or Winnie the Pooh.  She loves playing with Baby Dolls and going outside with her big sister.  Zoey has started a little bit into the Terrible Two's.  She can be a tantrum thrower, and has become quite a bit feisty at times.  Other than that she is a happy little girl that loves to laugh at everything and loves making the rest of us laugh right along with her.  We love you, Zoey.  Happy Birthday!

Zoey's special day started out by taking Addison to preschool.  After dropping Big Sis off, we headed to Toys R  Us to pick out a special Birthday Toy.  After the toy store, we headed over to Wegman's (our awesome grocery store) where she got to pick out a Birthday Balloon and a Treat--she picked Tic Tacs (silly girl).  We then went and picked up Addison and headed home.  Later on, daddy got home from work and we all got in the car and headed for Chuck-E-Cheese's...

Playing Games

Addie's FAVORITE thing to do there...I think half of our tokens go to this ride.

Zoey's turn

Mike getting into some Chuck-E-Cheese action on the games...We always have try to earn tickets for the kids so they can have a prize at the end--if we didnt, all the tokens would go to rides and we would leave empty handed.  And we refuse to leave empty handed, b/c if we have to spend 30 bucks on crappy pizza and overpriced tokens, then we will at least leave with one of their piece of crap toys, even if it breaks before you even leave the place.

Silly Girl

Cashing in our tickets

After leaving the land of a "kid can be a kid"...we headed home to do cake and presents along with a little Facetime (ipads version of skype) with Nana Sally and Grandpa.  This year Zoey got a Winnie the Pooh cake.  And yes, I made it, free handed it, and it turned out awesome if I do say so myself.

Getting ready to eat cake!

Mmmm frosting

After blowing out candles and eating cake, it was present time.  Here is Zoey opening up her gift from Nana and Grandpa

What??

Yay!  Baby Bottles

Zoey has really gotten into Baby Dolls.  While at Toys-R-Us today, she picked out this baby crib/high chair thingy.  She also picked out the hat she is wearing in this picture.  She found it, put it on, and refused to take it off.  So I caved (only b/c it was her birthday and the hat was on clearance) and she got it.  I have to give it to her, she has been wearing it practically ALL day long.  Here she is at the end of the night playing with all her new toys---please excuse the "diaper only" attire.

Ohhh Zoey...we love you!  Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**For the Record (mine of course)...Zoey ended up being spoiled as usual by getting:
-an All Terrain Wagon (for walks)
-2 baby dolls
-baby doll wagon complete with stuffed puppy
-4 outfits from aunts and nana
-giftcard to ToysRUs
-a new hat
-baby crib and high chair
-baby bottles
-baby food
