Home-A-Sweet-A Home!!

We bought a house! We bought a HOUSE!! WE TOTALLY BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! Can you tell I am excited??!!??!!?? After renting for the past 4 years, and moving from a duplex, to an apartment, to a small rental home, to a townhome, we are FINALLY onto a HOUSE. This is a big step for us b/c we didnt think it would happen this quick. But everything has just fallen into place for us. This will be Mike and I's FIRST big purchase together and we are ever so excited! This home is totally meant to be for us b/c everything has gone perfectly. The people accepted our FIRST offer, they threw in a brand new, french door, stainless steel LG Refrigerator. And YES, they just gave it to us, b/c the fridge was going to go with them, then we asked for it and offered to buy it from them, and they basically said "whatever, we dont want to move it" and gave it to us. The house inspection passed with flying colors! We came under our budget, and it is a brand new home. Not to brag or anything, but this is my moment to do so, so you can either be excited with me or just act excited for my sake :)

We will officially be closing on May 8th. We are so excited to move to the town of Pittsford, NY. It is about 15 minutes away from where we live now. We are sad to say that we wont be staying in the current ward we are in, but we will be staying in the Palmyra Stake, which is our stake now, so that helps. We are so excited to finally set down some roots here and we have plans to stay here for awhile. Pittsford is a lovely town with the Erie Canal running smack down the middle of it, it has highly ranked schools, and a very family friendly atmosphere. So now that we have a house, we will officially have a guest bedroom for ANYONE wanting to come visit and have a place to stay. As I have mentioned in previous posts..we are 20 minutes from Palmyra, NY--Hill Cumorah, Sacred Grove, Joseph Smith Farm, Book of Mormon Publishing House. We are about an 1 hour and 15 minutes from Niagra Falls as well. So call us up b/c you are welcomed!! Ok, thanks for sharing my excitement !! Here's to moving day!!
