Go Lynsee, Its Your Birthday!

Today I turned 27 years. For the first time, I actually feel kind of old. I know, I know, I know I am still young. But still, I just feel MUCH older today. I dont know if its because I am officially done having kids, or if it is because I will actually own a home for the first time in just a few short weeks ...but I am grown up now. A REAL, FULL GROWN, GROWN UP. Yikes! Oh well, life goes on. I have always liked the quote that came off my daily calendar thingy that my mom gets me every year for Christmas, it says "you will never experience life unless you grow old" ---or something like that. Well, its true.

The Birthday festivities were pretty low key this year, but nice. Mike surprised me a day early with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a personalized Birthday Cake that tasted extra Yummy b/c it came from the fabulous Wegmans. We ate cake last night and I even got to blow out a candle. Tonight Mike got a babysitter (via ME) and he made reservations at one of our new favorite local restaurants Richardson's Canal House. Its mega expensive and mega YUMMY. After that, we splurged and went to ColdStone so I could endulge into my Peanut Butter Perfection--the Love It sized one in case you are wondering. MMmmMMmm. It was a nice evening out with my hubby and a nice break from the kiddos. Thanks babe for a nice evening and Happy 27 years to me!!
