Canada, Eh?!?!?!

Hope everyone had a very enjoyable Labor Day Holiday this year.  We sure did.  Mike got the day off (like most people did), so we decided to head into Canada for the day.  Why not, eh?  We only live about an hour and 20 minutes from the border.  So we decided to head to Niagara Falls.  After living here for a year now, we havent gone yet.  So we thought Labor Day would be a good day to do so and it was, the crowds werent that bad for being a holiday weekend----well a holiday weekend in the US.  We got up Monday morning and headed off.  We crossed the border into Canada and enjoyed the day there viewing the falls, walking through some of the shops, and eating at Rainforest Cafe.  It was fun to get out and its fun to say that we got to go to a different country and back all in one day.  Hopefully next time we can make it all the way to Toronto which is only about 3 hours away.  But on Labor Day, we settled for Niagara.

Mike's photography skills

Addison, Zoey (doesnt like pictures) Rhett, and "the mamma"

The big sign above the bush there says "Duty Free" shopping, yeah, we totally stopped there to get some Tax-Free Chocolate  :)  The store was full of liquors and beers for sure, and a lot of name brand perfumes...cant beat tax free!

Addie and Zoey looking into one part of the falls

Looking at the other part of Niagara falls.....you can hardly see them, it looks like a bunch of smoke, but its all water/mist.  There is so much water being poured down those falls that you can feel the mist from the falls all along the boardwalk.

Some Canadian statue that Addie wanted a picture in front of

Next stop was Rainforest Cafe.  Zoey loved all the animals

This is what she did every time it would "storm" in the rainforest

And once again, Addison

The falls are gorgeous...its no question that these things should be and are one of the "wonders of the world".

Thanks Canada!!  See you reall soon, eh!!
