New York State Fair

Last Monday (08.27.2012), we headed to Syracuse for the New York State Fair.  We love fairs, all the  nice, fatty fried foods and the "white trash" peoples that walk around there is what we thrive for.  Although the "white trash" part was a bit disappointing, we still had a good time.  It also decided to rain on us while we were there, so please excuse our messy hair and such.  This fair was HUGE.  I mean HUGE.  You seriously needed a whole day to get through all the exhibits and stuff.  We probably barely put a "dent" in seeing all the exhibits that were there.  But we enjoyed walking around, seeing some animals, eating some nice fatty foods, and the kids got to pick one ride to go on---fairs totally rip you off when it comes to ticket prices.  We will probably return next year and actually plan a WHOLE day to get through everything.

Entering into the fair

Watching a horse show

Zoey was really into it

Got to pet the bunnies

The Turok Bunnies----Zoey

Addison

Our cute lil bunnies

The only ride that was FREE at the fair---i can see why it was free, it was a pretty pitiful ride.  If I had to pay for that, I would have been quite disapointed

The only thing Addie asked for at the fair---Cotton Candy

The ONE ride the girls picked....I got the pleasure of riding with them b/c Zoey was too short to go by herself

Daddy and Rhett

Walking out of the fair we ran into this Pink Tractor, Addie insisted that we get one for her birthday..(i dont think so).  We told her she would have to settle for posing in front of the pink tractor

Zoey wanted to join in on the "posing"

Thanks NY State Fair, until next year!!
